The QY Series Insulated Overhead Crane shares a similar structural design with standard overhead bridge cranes featuring a hook. Its defining characteristic is the integration of specialized insulation systems, which are critical for operational safety in environments where lifted items could conduct electricity from charged equipment to the crane.
To safeguard the operator from potential electrical hazards, multiple high-resistance insulation barriers are strategically installed. These are positioned within the hook assembly, the trolley frame, and at the trolley wheel or rail contact points. These components are typically constructed from durable epoxy phenolic glass cloth laminate board, ensuring reliable insulation.

Each insulating component is engineered to maintain a resistance value of no less than 1MΩ under standard conditions (20-25°C, ≤85% humidity).

Robust Mechanical Construction:
The main girders are fabricated from double-web box sections, designed and tested to meet DIN/FEM standards for minimal deflection.
Constructed from high-grade Q235B or Q345B steel, with trolley rails made from robust 16Mn flat steel.
A durable, corrosion-resistant finish is achieved with an epoxy zinc-rich primer and topcoats, totaling 120μm in thickness.
High-strength bolts connect the girder to the end trucks, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.
End trucks feature anti-friction bearings, buffers, derailment guards, and either flat or double-flange wheels.
A secure maintenance walkway with a patterned steel plate and handrail runs alongside the main girder.
